Winchester Model 94AE “1 Of 10” With Investment Arms Case. This Winchester Commemorative Rifle celebrates Henry County, Illinois. It has a 20” round steel barrel with a short dovetailed front sight and an elevator-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight. It has the standard Carbine two-barrel bands. The barrel is engraved with a floral design directly behind the rear sight. The two-line Winchester Address, Model and Caliber markings are on the left side of the barrel just up from the receiver. The top portion of the bolt has been jeweled and is engraved with gold letters that read “1 OF 10” on a black background and on each side of the black background are two sets of engraved crossed “Tomahawks”. The partially Silver and Gold receiver is engraved on the right side with a gold banner that reads Henry County, Illinois. The engraving continues with another gold banner that reads the “Historic Courthouse” under the picture of the building coupled with a picture of 4 men with a number of hogs and under that a gold banner that reads the “Hog Capital”. The left side of the receiver has a gold banner that reads “Henry County” and “Established January 13, 1825”. Completing the left side of the receiver are gold engravings of 4 men harvesting corn next to a horse-drawn wagon and the last engraving shows 4 men working a coal mine with an ore cart on tracks. The “Large Loop” lever has sections on each side of floral engraving. The highly-figured and piano finished walnut stocks are also carved. The left side of the forearm has the words “Henry County” carved into an oak leaf themed banner that also has a deer head in a circle. The left side buttstock has a carving of the “Rock Island & Peoria Line” steam locomotive on rails. Also, a carved picture of the Illinois State Seal with the State Motto that reads “Prairie State” on a flowing banner. The right side of the forearm has the word “Illinois” on a flowing banner. There is also, in the carving, a Cardinal which is the Illinois State Bird. The right buttstock exhibits another carved flowing banner with the words “Brandenburg’s Inn” next to a carved Stagecoach being pulled by a team of horses. This rifle comes with an “Investment Arms” French fitted case. Arizona Gun Dealers must have a signed copy of their Federal Firearms License in order to accept delivery of modern weapons.
