Winchester “Deluxe Model” 1886 Takedown Commemorative Rifle With Box. This Winchester Takedown Model 1886 Commemorative is 1 of 550 manufactured for the 2001 Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet. It sports a 26” blued octagon barrel with a full-length magazine tube. The barrel has a bead front sight and an elevator adjustable rear sight. The left side of the blued receiver has been laser-engraved showing a floral pattern design with a Bull Elk in the center of an oval with the engraved words - ”ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION” at the top of the oval. The bottom of the oval says: EDITION OF 500”. The right side of the receiver has a similar engraving pattern with a small boxed area that reads: “R.M.E.F. 2001 BANQUET EDITION”. The upper part of the receiver shows two Bull Elk walking in a field. There is an upper tang- mounted-safety. The trigger guard portion of the blued lever has a floral pattern on each side. The hammer and both sides of the bolt have been Machine Turned (Jeweled). The serial number is roll-marked on the bottom of the receiver. The Walnut stocks on this Deluxe Model Winchester have a blued forearm cap and crescent butt-plate. The buttstock is pistol-gripped with a black grip cap.   • The deep, rich bluing, on all metal parts, rates at 99.9%. The Walnut stocks are beautifully figured with crisp, sharp checkering and rate at 100%. Mechanically perfect and the bore is bright and shiny and looks to be un-fired. There are no visible replaced parts. This is another one of Winchester’s Commemorative Series of rifles that is drop-dead gorgeous. This rifle comes to you in the original Winchester Box that is serial-numbered to the gun.

Any local Arizona Buyer of Post 1898 firearms MUST complete all necessary registration forms at Bradford's Auction Gallery. Local Buyers MUST have a Valid ARIZONA ID with Current Physical Address. If your Arizona ID does not reflect your current address you MUST provide us with a secondary form of ID that contains your correct address. Arizona Gun Dealers must have a signed copy of their Federal Firearms License in order to accept delivery of modern weapons. ANY DENIED BACKGROUND CHECK WILL RESULT IN A REFUND MINUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.
