Features the original publishers grey pictorial cloth, spine lettered and decorated in gilt with black endpapers. Contains a total of 300 illustrations. These illustrations encompass a wide range of sword types, historical depictions, and technical details related to swords and swordsmanship across different cultures and periods of history. Uncut and large portions appear to have been unopened.   • Provenance: Inside front cover is a sticker from Markree Library, stating the collection was "Re-arranged in 1913 by Bryan Cooper." This refers to the collection at Markree Castle in Collooney, County Sligo, Ireland, the ancestral seat of the Cooper family, to which this copy once belonged. Also inside the front cover there is an Arthur C. Cooper (armorial bookplate). There is a Ray Riling Arms Books Co sticker inside back cover.

  • Condition: This piece is in good condition, with normal signs of wear commensurate with age. Visible wear to binding, cover, spine, corners and edges.
