Description:

Jorio Vivarelli (1922-2008) "Untitled" Serigraph. October 29, 2000 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of Cooperative Credit Bank of S. Pietro in Vincio. It has been a long time since back in 1910 a group of farmers and sharecroppers came together to create the Cassa di Deposito e Risparmio di S. Pietro Apostolo in a room of the parish rectory from which the name was derived. Al Vincio. in these 90 years, thigs and men have changed and also the Company, which, in the meantime, has changed its name, first, in Cassa Rurale ed Artigaiana di S. Pietro in vincio and, then, in the current one, has gradually adapted to the changing needs of the customers, strengthening its structure and expanding its range of action, but always keeping in mind the fundamental principles of localism, socialism and mutuality. Even today, in a time phase of profound and pressing technological evolution, the Bank is the patrimony of the community within which it plays its role helping charitable and social institutions. To celebrate the 90th anniversary, it was decided to have Maestro Jorio Vivarelli, an internationally renowned artist and our Honorary member, create this exclusive work, reserved for members.800 copies of this Serigraphy were produced, numbered from 1 to 800. The serigraphs are signed by the author and are printed on hand made paper mills. The typographic and silk screen printing was done by the firms Fagni Grafica from Ponte Buggianese and Astor from Borgo a Buggiano.
