Description:

Circa 1905 Colt SAA Single Action Army .32-20 WCF Revolver. Includes a beautiful hand tooled leather holster. First-Generation Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .32-20 WCF, manufactured in 1905 in Hartford, Connecticut. The Colt “Peacemaker” was introduced in 1873 and has become one of the most iconic firearms in all of history, thanks to its widespread use by the U.S. military, civilians and, more recently, in Western films. Total production numbers for the “First Generation” (c. 1873-1940) Colt Single Action Army reached 357,859. These continued to be relied upon as well as “hot-rodded” by the likes of Elmer Keith, Skeeter Skelton, many other lawmen and gun writers of the time. This one features a 4-3/4 inch barrel, chambered for a great cartridge. While the .44s and .45s are generally perceived as the man-stoppers of the day, the .32-20 was no slouch, pushing a 100 grain bullet at about 1000 feet per second. Caliber/ Gauge: .32-20 WCF Serial Number: 265693 Working Order: Firearm has not been tested; Background Check: Required; Keywords: Firearms, Guns; Ref: BD1004
