Description:

Bob Parks (1943 - 2017) "Renegade" Bronze Sculpture. This highly detailed sculpture depicts a Native American male holding a rifle in his left hand, along with a bow and arrows on his back. During the nineteenth century, the term “renegade” was applied to those Indians who refused to be imprisoned on the reservations and to those who continued to practice their “pagan” religions. Bob Parks, sculptor and owner of Bob Parks Gallery, was a prominent artist in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bob was born in Hollywood, Ca. and moved to Scottsdale in the late 60's. Over the past twenty-two years he sculpted over 230 different bronze sculptures, ranging in edition size of five to thirty-five.
