Antique Winchester Model 1876 Lever Action .50-95 Express Rifle with Cody Letter. This Winchester Model 1876, also referred to as the “Centennial Rifle” since its’ introduction coincided with the U.S. Centennial Exposition held in Philadelphia, PA in 1876.This Winchester “Thumper” sports a 26” octagon barrel with a full-length magazine tube. The barrel has a German-silver blade front sight coupled with an adjustable ladder style rear sight. The sliding dust cover is adorned with the Winchester “Thumbprint” and is also marked Winchester Express .50 Cal. 95 Grs. The two-line Winchester-address and caliber marking have been roll-stamped on the top flat of the barrel. The top tang is marked Model 1876 and the lower tang has the stamped serial number. The barrel, magazine tube and receiver have been blued while the forearm cap, hammer, trigger, loading lever and crescent butt-plate have been color-case hardened. The butt-plate has the sliding trapdoor for the included cleaning rod . The forearm is made from American black Walnut and the buttstock is made from straight-grained Walnut.   • Condition: The condition of this Winchester rifle is the end product of a quality restoration completed by ROGER’S WINCHESTER RESTORATION of Anaheim, CA. The barrel, magazine tube and receiver retain over 98% with wear on the high edges. The case-colors are approximately rated at 98%. The barrel bore is shiny with strong rifling. The refinished wood stocks exhibit minor scratches and handling marks. The action is solid and functions properly. There does not appear to be any visibly replaced parts.

If your Arizona ID does not reflect your current address you MUST provide us with a secondary form of ID that contains your correct address. Arizona Gun Dealers must have a signed copy of their Federal Firearms License in order to accept delivery of modern weapons. ANY DENIED BACKGROUND CHECK WILL RESULT IN A REFUND MINUS A 25% RESTOCKING FEE.
