  • Dimensions: 24" Barrel
  • Circa: 1892 Madis
  • Condition: Overall condition is good to very good. The original bluing on the barrel and magazine tube has turned to a light brownish patina. There are several small areas of pin-prick pitting under the finish on the magazine tube. The barrel has two nicks on the top flat just in front of the rear sight. The barrel bore is frosty with visible rifling. The wood stocks have been sanded smooth. The only “repairable” distraction is on the right side of the carbine forearm which has a rectangular ½” gouge and the right side of the buttstock having a ½” triangular piece of wood missing adjacent to the upper tang. The carbine buttstock has the plastic, Winchester, straight shotgun style butt-plate. The lever action is firm and operates exactly as it should.
