3pc Canadian Aviation Series Sterling Silver Commemorative Coins. Lot includes three sterling silver coins that are part of the first ten-coin series commemorating the Powered Flight in Canada: The First 50 Years. (1) 1990 Canadian $20 Avro Lancaster, (1) 1992 Canadian $20 Vickers Vedette and (1) 1990 Canadian $20 Avro Ansan and the Harvard. Each coin commemorates an aviation hero and his achievements. These coins are composed of sterling silver and have a 24 karat gold covered cameo portrait of an aviation hero. Coins come encapsulated in a specially designed an aluminum clamshell case (in the shape of a wing) lined with flock, protected by a custom beauty box and Certificates of Authenticity.
