2pc 1924 U.S. Silver Peace Dollar Coins. The silver Peace Dollar is one the most highly regarded coins ever minted by the U.S. Mint. Because Peace Dollars were only produced in limited quantities and for only a few years, serious coin collectors may wish to own these coins from each edition made. The obverse text on the Peace Dollar reads “Liberty; In God We Trust (Trust); 1924.” The reverse text on the silver dollar reads “United States of America; E Pluribus Unum; One Dollar; Peace.” The obverse of the coin has a bust of a female facing the left with a pointed crown and flowing hair. The reverse of the Peace Dollar has an eagle sitting on a rock in the center with rays in the background. Both coins are un-minted. Approx.
