Includes 13 full page illustrations that are masterpieces of wood engraving prints by Fritz Eichenberg. They bring the novel to life in a wild, evocative, passionate yet repressed fashion. Features Monotype Bodini font and each chapter is indicated by decorative brackets as the text moves on. Charlotte and Emily Brontë were sisters in one of the most accomplished literary families of the nineteenth century. Each a tale of passionate romance and transformative personal experience.
